Sentimental Sweetness
When I was a little girl, my mom made me these Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls (complete with the embroidered heart that says, "I love you"). This week I took them to the dry cleaner across the street and he fixed their little button eyes and put a few stitches here and there where they had popped their seams. Then he gave them a good washing. I love my dolls. Aren’t they precious?

Did these come out of your treasure box??? I love them. They look brand new! Those Korean dry cleaners must really know useful stuff!
I love those dolls. You and Natalie are so lucky to have them. They really are "precious". They look like mom made them just yesterday!
Seeing these brought tears to my eyes. How sentimental is that? They brought back many memories. They look brand new--you should have taken Natalie's with you! They reminded me and Emily of the book Edward Toulane. I wonder what kind of story they would tell.
Kim
There is not a place in the world that can duplicate better than the South Koreans. You should get the dolls reproducted for your girls. And you will be surprised of how little it will cost. Enjoy reading your blog.
My cousin made me a Raggedy Ann doll years ago and I love it...especially because I look like her. :)
They look new! That dry cleaner guy is really nice. I wish I could find a dry cleaner guy like him. Dave is really picky about his shirts and I struggle with mine who happens to be the best dry cleaner guy in Utah. (It was a long, long search for him.)
Kim this is great me and grandma are slowing learning about blog I love reading this I need Emily and Robilyn to invite me to their blog so we can get on and read their blog What an adventure you are on. You are such an inspiration to me what courage you have. It looks like you have beautiful mountains got to go get ready for work. I'm on grave shift. Hope it doesn't put me in my grave love you guys
I love those dolls! I totally remember them! You and Natalie are SO lucky you got those! Maybe you could have Korea duplicate a pair for me! We missed you at Libby's party yesterday. I'm really missing you and want to talk to you. Also, have you happened to find my Couch bag yet? Get on it would you!?!?
They are beautiful. By the way, When I grow up you're giving them to ME!
Dear Kim,
I felt cheated that Curt got to talk to Jim but I didn't get to talk to you. I'm sure you are having a huge adjustment over there because I'm having issues here in the uk. We've been here almost a month and are finally getting used to things. We found a wonderful bakery, figured out where and how to park when we go into town, and got signed up at a fitness center. We have a dishwasher and a small washing machine but no dryer. We have a drying rack. It isn't quite enough for 6 people. We go to the laundromat to use the dryer about once a week. Otherwise it takes 4 days for the jeans to dry and then they are like cardboard:) Well I miss you, Jim, and your darling kids. Love, Jan
