The Bean Bag Song

For James' birthday party we danced to The Bean Bag Song with bean bags that Grandma Gina made with a little bit of help from Anna, Miri, and Gracie. I learned about this song at the Skokie Public Library's storytime for preschoolers. The song is by Hap Palmer and I think it's fun. If you have a preschooler, give them a beanbag and turn on the song. It could entertain them for a while. It's worth a try.

Kim, I have a preschooler and am always looking for ideas to entertain her. I will have to try this.

This sounds like a great idea. Where do I find the song? I have a house full of pre-schoolers slamming doors and banging up the walls whenever they come to visit! I need something to entertain them. Sounds like James had a fun party.

Haven't found a public library that tops Skokie. I can hear the song in my head, even though it's been a long time.
Throw the beanbag, and catch
Turn around, turn around, step step step.
My favorite part is "Put it on your head and walk around the room."

It's kinda fun for me too, but it makes me feel like-- well, an 11-year old preschooler!
