We met my parents at the Bangkok airport at about midnight on August 3, 2011. Early the next morning we set off for the floating markets of Bangkok. On the way we visited a coconut farm where coconut flowers are turned into candy. This woman is frying bananas from her boat on the floating market. They were delicious. They reminded me of "platenos amarillo" in the Dominican Republic.
