Happy President's Day

I admire President Abraham Lincoln. A few years ago I read the Lincoln biography: With Malice Toward None by Stephen B. Oats. The book was recommended to me by a good friend in Chicago who teaches high school history. I found the book very interesting and very insightful. My take home: Lincoln feared God more than man.
Lincoln is an inspiration to me. God Bless America.

I admire him too. I might steal your post for my blog! Thanks for the idea. I'll have to read that book it sounds good. Did you know that Ron Anderson (used to be in mom and dad's ward) wrote a book on Abraham Lincoln? We'll have to read it.

I'm at the library right now. I had to get out of my house and AWAY from my family. I'm having one of those days. :( Anyway I think I will go check out that book. Everyone in the television Media here keeps comparing Obama to Lincoln. I'm sure Obama is a great guy, but Lincoln? Come on!

Good old "Honest Abe." We (the good old USA) could use a few Abes and Georges right now. I'll have to put that book on my book list.
