Kim: Isn't is wonderful the impact of grandparents? We went to ID over labor day for a 90th birthday party for Nate's grandma. I came home loving her even more and even more convinced of how much impact for good one person can have. The recipe for carrot cake, GOOD. The photo of your grandpa, PRICELESS. Bali looked like a blast!
I really am surprised at myself, at how much I am missing grandpa. That picture brought tears to my eyes. He was never happier, than when he was in his garden. I like to imagine he's with his sweetheart, in heavens garden, as busy as can be. If I could hie to Kolob.
It is so awesome you have a picture of you grandpa doing what he loved so much! Most of my grandparents died when I was little and I don't have great photos of them (they were always the ones taking the photos!) What a treasure!

2007-Jim bought a great camera (Nikon D40X). It is fun to use and considering the unlimited number of photos we can take, we usually have a high probability of taking one that is satisfactory. Anyway, with this camera and admitting that just as "all roads lead to Rome", all communications lead to the internet (a fact that I have long denied), I have embraced the blog wholeheartedly.

Grandpa in his garden. His little piece of heaven on earth. I love this picture.
